I'm the drummer in a band called Big Merino. We play original songs that blur the lines between blues, country, gospel and rock. My short story, The Green Ocean of Star Shaped Leaves, was included in Taste: Fresh New Writing, the 17th collection of works to come out of the Creative Writing program at the University of Technology Sydney. The foreword was written by author and academic Dr Cathy Cole, who writes "An anthology celebrates and unifies, offers insights into a world that may be different from our own, presents a ‘taste’ of life – a banquet which enriches and exhilarates."
